You Care For Families. We Support You

As a dedicated North Carolina family child care provider, you deserve robust support. When you join the Collaborative you get comprehensive guidance from vibrant peer learning to personalized coaching to excel on every step of your professional journey.

The Support You Get

When you join the network you gain access to a community of peers and a team of experts dedicated to your success. Our support is built on encouragement and designed to help you build relationships, share wins and navigate challenges.

Group-Based Learning (Learn with Peers)

Find Your People. You’re Not Alone. Our Group-Based Learning spaces are built on encouragement, not competition. It’s a place to share your wins, ask for advice on a tough day and build relationships with fellow providers who understand your journey.

  • Monthly CoP Workshops: Join statewide virtual or regional in-person discussions on topics like social-emotional learning, business management and teacher-child interactions.
  • NAFCC Accreditation Cohort: Join a dedicated group of providers on a guided journey to achieve national NAFCC accreditation.
  • Parent Advocacy Training: Learn how to become an effective advocate for your business and the families you serve with sessions based on the proven Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) model.

Individualized Coaching (Personalized Support)

For those who want a more personal guide, get support that’s all about you. This personalized support is entirely optional and designed to fit your biggest goals. Work one-on-one with a dedicated NC-based Coach to:

  • Business Coaching: Use the “Thrive Pathway” system to get personalized support with financial planning and marketing.
  • Accreditation Coaching: Receive individualized guidance to complete your NAFCC self-study and prepare for your observation visit.
  • Quality Improvement Coaching: Get targeted support to help you maintain or increase your star rating. We use easy-to-understand guides, checklists and tools to help you navigate the new QRIS system.
